Love dogs?
What do you feed them often, parle-G?
Stop right now, you're "poisoning" the doggie!
Yes, you heard that right. Very often people are seen feeding strays with biscuits as they're handy. Having considered a good source of energy(in humans) also cheap and available, Parle-G biscuits are preferred the most when it comes to feeding stray dogs. But did you know, everytime you feed a stray dog with a pack of Parle-G biscuits, you're actually initiating the vitiating of their organs?
Biscuits contain high amount of sugar and salt which if given to dogs over a long period of time, may cause serious health issues in them. Just as in humans, excess sugar can cause obesity in dogs too. Only the difference is that, it is even worse in them and can cause early death. Most harmful ingredient: Wheat, is one of the three most allergens for dogs, corn and soy are the other two. And it is found that Parle-G biscuits contain both sugar and wheat in excess.Strays never say no to food as they're sure that they may not get food next time. They eat whatever they get to fill up their tummies. They don't know what they're consuming, and often end up with serious diseases which no one comes forward to help them cure from. Some of the diseases include: Organ failure, fur lose, Allergic skin reactions, diabetes mellitus, nutritional deficiencies, obesity, etc.
Well then, should we "never" feed a dog with Parle-G? Not really. It's not a total "NO" to these biscuits, you may give it to them at times but "not always". It is more harmful to the pets where their activities are restricted to the particular home or place only. Strays roam around, play, fight and even chase bikes and cars. Where they can easily digest the food. In fact, they get to eat very less than they actually need.Parle g will give instant energy to malnourished or weak dog. Or who has become unconscious due to lack of blood or HB. And as parle g contains glucose it smells sweet so no dog will refuse to eat it. As animals love sweet.
